Over 1,000 children received free backpacks and school supplies this Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Plaza Mariachi. The Hispanic Family Foundation and TBLC Media, which includes Activa and La Ranchera, hosted their annual “Back to School 2017” event on the Plaza Mariachi’s promenade.
Games, food, and live entertainment took place at this successful event with over 3,000 people. Likewise, the “E6” fire truck from The Nashville Fire Department helped the children stay cool and wet during the hot weather.
“Thanks to their passion for serving the Nashville community, The Hispanic Family Foundation and TBLC Media provided Hispanic families with the school supplies they needed to start the new school year off on the right foot.”
SUM and the National Teams of Mexico and New Zealand, thank Activa and La Ranchera for their support in marketing and promoting the first ever match of the FMF Tour in the US.
“Activa and La Ranchera were great partners to work with and have deep knowledge of the growing Hispanic audience in the greater Nashville area and their community ties helped strengthen our match. Thanks again for all the support.”
